Section and seating auditions will be completed online.
Please read the directions below carefully.

For your camp audition, you must record a video of yourself playing
a scale (your choice) and a solo piece.

SCALE
Make sure you choose a scale that will highlight your skills.
If you can shift, play more than one octave, or play a key with multiple sharps and flats, please do so.
Major or minor scales are both acceptable.
If you don't have anything ready, and need suggestions,
be sure to pick something that is at your level of playing.
Ask your Orchestra Teacher or Private Instructor for assistance.

SOLO PIECE
This can be a solo you've worked on this year with your Orchestra Teacher or Private Lessons Instructor.
Or, you could play part of a piece of music you've worked on in your orchestra classes this year.

SUBMITTING YOUR AUDITION
Go to THIS FORM to submit your audition. This audition is informal.
Both video recordings (one scale and one solo) must each be 45 seconds or less.
The purpose is to show the Camp Faculty how you can play.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT WE CAN SEE YOU AND YOUR
INSTRUMENT WHILE YOU'RE PLAYING.

The audition deadline for summer 2024 is Sunday, July 7 at 11:59 PM.
